Artist Portfolio Web Sites
Artist portfolio sites are a stock item with custom options. It's for the artist who wants to own their web site and begin to develop a web presence but is not ready to go through a custom design process. The deliberately understated design allows the artwork to speak for itself. It looks professional, is easy to navigate and makes a positive impression on visitors.
Because this is a stock item the basic design already exists which makes it a quick start. I have so much confidence in the design, I use it to display my own pastel paintings in a special section within this site. This makes it easy for you to test drive the design and see how it works. If you like what you see we will work together and customize the colors, typeface and logotype to harmonize with your work. With an unobtrusive design, people will remember your artwork not the work of the web designer. Nobodies name goes on the site but your own. The basic structure of the site is SEO friendly and I will help you prepare to take advantage of this.

THE FINE PRINT. Process usually takes 2 to 4 weeks. Site can be set up for you to manage your own content using Adobe Contribute which will restrict changes to specified areas. This is a good thing. It allows you to make changes through your browser, but blocks you from inadvertantly messing up the rest of the site. Limit of 900 words of copy on text pages. Maximum of 44 pages.
